[HOE] Reading Suggestion (Good Luck Finding It, However)

Well, out and about today, I stumbled upon a very nice bit of material...

A Post Apocolyptic book by D. B. Drumm from the series called "Traveler".
It's about a poor soldier fifteen years after World War III, who had been
exposed to a nerve agent that heightened all his senses (*MORE* than enough
to drive him insane!). Given a partial cure, he was recovering when the
bombs dropped, and now tools around the wasteland in a van rigged up with
sheetmetal and kevlar vest armour and a pair of H&K MGs on the roof!

Add to this a "Ex-Movie Star President, Going Insane, Working out of Las
Vegas", bands of mutants, cannibals, and combat descriptions that seems
straight out of a group's memory of a fight! Heck, the guy even goes on
about the weapons each person is using, and the whys and wherefores of the
choice for each. :-)

In essence, lacking the mystical end, it seems *ALOT* like Hell On Earth!!!
A good read for reference for all!

Now for the bad news, good luck finding this gem. The book I got (#2) was
published in 1984, and I doubt I'll ever see any of the others of this
series (Won't stop me from trying, however.).

There, I did the evil Marshal thing... "Want it? Can't have it!!!
MUH-HA=HA-HA!!!".

Ray.
