Re: [HOE] Fire and Power Armor

How about increasing the energy drain of the armoured
suit as it absorbs more heat? Say the internal systems
of the suit have to go into overdrive to prevent
failing due to the heat themselves and/or passing on
the damage to their wearer.

So for every round that the heat source is kept
constant (such as walking through an intense fire or
some idiot continues to blast away at you with a flame
thrower) the drain of the suit goes up by one. VV for
when the heat source is taken away down to the normal
minimum.

I'm not that keen on an armoured suit being ablated by
intense heat. In my view, the armour stays constant
but instead it is the heat transfer that starts to
cause the problems. Depending on the detail level of
the Marshall, don't forget ammo cook offs as the heat
level rises.

Makes for an interesting scene where our heroes come
across what appears to be a decent suit of armour
(except for all the blown fuses and ammo cook offs)
and inside is a very well broiled ex-soldier.

YMMV
