Actually I was thinking that some really decieved Neo Luddites would think
this was a huge deposit of ghost rock (i doubt the anti version is white)
and consider it a problem. They burn it to try to destroy this "root of
evil" and all the mechanations (sp?) that were moving in that area.  The
computer there considers them a threat but its technology seems to be
useless.   All these factors come to a head and up pops "Squidface" and
several insane, undead, and very ticked off abominations.
