The
only possible explanation that I can think of is that the length of the bullets
is different. In a Semi-Automatic
you may need shorter ammo in order for it to be able to chamber the next round
where as the revolver just turns the cylinder. Since the amount of lead as well as the
caliber makes a difference in the amount of damage a bullet will do, this seems
a reasonable explanation. However,
if both guns take the exact same ammunition then I would agree that the damage
should be equivalent. Adam -----Original Message----- Can
anyone explain why the Ruger Thunderhawk (a .357 sem-automatic pistol) does
3d6, while a Ruger Redhawk (a .357 revolver) does 4d6? I
am assuming this is a typo in The Wasted West source book. Anybody know which
damage it is supposed to be? I am assuming it is 4d6 since a .357 bullet is
usually more powerful than a 9mm. |
