[HOE] Famous Peoples In Campaigns...

How do you handle famous people in a world where they might live forever???

Does "Famous" mean that they are sure to do so?

It's a common question that my group raises, and I usually pull an "On The
Spot" bit to explain it away quickly, and then go on from there...

Note: We have three forms of "Dead" in my group:
Unconfirmed Dead: It's been decades since they've been seen, but there's no
grave or body... Most likely still around.
Dead: There's a Grave... But are they truely in there???
Dead-Dead: "He's Dead, Jim... And not getting up again."

So far:

Elvis: Dead-dead. But he faked his death by overdose, and was alive for
quite some time after that. Said to have died in an Old Age Home fighting
against the Darkness (Bubba Ho-Tep, maybe? I still have yet to see that
movie! Be glad when it comes out up here finally!)

Keith Richards: Alive, literally! He's not a Harrowed, but is still alive
somehow. (He found the exact combination of Drugs to live forever!!!).
After a Red Joker Draw, it was found out that he had gone whoring with "The
Syker With No Name" at some time in the late 21st Century.

Wyatt Earp: Dead-Dead, but just 'cause he's a Templar Saint.

Shane Lacy Hensley: Dead-Dead... Maybe. See "City O' Sin" for details.
;-)

John Goff: Servitor Of Death (Possibly even Death Himself!). 'Nuff Said.

Arnold Schwarzenegger: Dead-Dead... Reason unknown (It was the fourth
question of death that night and I got really ticked off, so I just said so
and left it at that.).

Harrison Ford: Harrowed, then Dead-Dead. He was trying to rangle a deal to
make Star Wars Episodes VII-IX, but was killed mysteriously before it could
come about (Stone maybe?).

Stone: Still kicking arse and taking names... With style!!! (My group met
him and lived! Heck, one is now part of "Death Force" with him!!!).

Clint Eastwood: Dead-Dead. Blaze of Glory Dead!!! His home was attacked
by Cultists and he took most (If not all!) of 'em down with him before
succumbing to his own wounds. His grave has been undisturbed, so it's
believed that he's resting nicely (Or maybe not... Another Templar Saint
who hasn't been arround often enough to get put in the book?).

That's all I can remember off the top of my head that were somewhat serious
(No, I'm not going to bother thinking about the guy who played
"Mini-Me"!!!), and I'm wondering if other groups have to deal with said
problem.

Ray.
