I'm interested, but I'm also a 26 hour drive away!  :-)

I'm looking at possibly doing one of Todd Fuhrler's excellent HoE LARPs (he ran two different ones at past GenCons), with perhaps a more simplified ruleset.  What are you using for rules?  Straight Deadlands rules or a modification thereof?
