[HOE] Radio Stations of the Apocalypse (Spoilers for my group. This means you, Lauren!)
Ok all, just my two centavos,
My wife, Lauren, happens to take this topic very seriously. She is a producer of an afternoon talk show in RL. And her character is an aspiring Junker with a computer browser who intends to travel around the west setting up radio stations in survivor settlements. Once the station is established, she plans to set up the relay towers as well. And if she gets a sat uplink, who knows? We might see the reinvention of XM Radio if she can convince ComSat to carry it. Now, I know, there are purists out there who are fuming and figure I'm just letting her get away with murder cuz we are married. Un-uh. She's having to work for it every step of the way.

How about this? She and her posse unknowingly ripped off Sirocco, leader of the Dust Devils. In addition, they pissed off someone and left them alive. I plan to finish the road combat with the lead patrol of Dust Devils this weekend. Then they are set up to take on the Speed Demons and there soon-to-be a servitor leader. Following that is my updated version of the Apocalypse Now adventure. Then, an encounter with the Syker Automaton Idea that was presented on here. Finally a blizzard through Donner Pass and I'll let them get to Sacramento. On the return trip, she is going to set up a station at Elko, which is vastly different in my game from the CotA adventure, unfortunately they will be under attack by the main body of Dust Devils plus any other baddies from the trip to Sacramento. Why is all this happening? She has a relic in her possession that lets her do double damage in a ram collision but I added the taint of Monster Magnet. So you see, everything is fair in love and war.
BTW, any of you badge wearing types that have ideas, comments, or gripes, I'd love to hear 'em. Shawn.
