The pack needs a new quartermaster.  This is a great volunteer position for
members who want to help out the pack but may have a busy work schedule.

 

Traditionally, this position requires  a scout's parent/guardian to
volunteer storage space for pack related supplies.  These supplies includes
things like the pinewood derby track, chuck boxes used to hold camping
items, supplies for our blue and gold banquet and a few other odds and ends.


 

The quartermaster should be willing to allow the pack leadership access to
the packs supplies a few times a years.  The storage space is typically
someone garage or shed.

 

In a slightly less traditional approach to the quartermaster position, the
pack will consider assisting with the cost and assembly of a shed on the new
quartermasters property.  Some requirements for this approach are as
follows:

 

1)      Minimum of a 5 year commitment is requested.

2)      Pack to split cost of building materials (up to an amount TBD).

3)      Shed must be large enough to accommodate pine wood derby track. 

4)      Pack will provide volunteers to help assemble.

5)      Pack leadership would like copy of key to shed.  The key will only
be used as a last resort incase quartermaster is out of town.
