The "requirements" are simple.  I need only create a directory with 
rwxrwxrwx permissions.  However, I shan't.  It is too great a security
risk, and it creates another job for me... (Check my mail, check the news,
check the ftp directory, check the...)

Mail works fine, and I *may* create temporary directories as necessary.
But not all the time.
