In response to numerous requests, I looked up Confound on the Internet.  I 
found two versions on the Internet:

Version 1.4 (1995): http://rocketdownload.com/Details/Stra/confound.htm
Version 1.0 (1993): http://www.winsite.com/bin/Info?500000023508

It seams this program has not been updated since 1995.  It was written for 
win 3.1, but I've run it on Win95 and Win98.
