Broadcast from mdlopezlvn via PBM Server

I apologize for the General Broadcast, but this is the only way I know how to get my message across to multiple people at the same time. Here is what I have written..........

Somebody HELP!! I am having trouble with bengal.

OK, it all started on DC (Double  Chess) 195 & 196. He spent the whole game telling me how weak my moves  are & how bad my King will be checkmated. When I won both games (1 with a mate in 2 & 1 with a mate in 5), he became upset & said some rude comments. He said he will not play DC games with me anymore because my play is too boring for him. Too boring??

Anyways....His verbal abuse continued over our Chess games. Chess board 822 & 870. On Chess Board 870 by move 10 (PBeM moves) he said I had already abandoned the Kingside & therefore he will checkmate me soon. After I won a pawn on move 29.Qxf6, he said he has been playing without a board, now he will use a physical board & quickly show me the weaknesses in my play. On move 40. I announced a mate in 3 & asked if he would like an "undo" he said "If mate is what you want, then come get it" & declined the undo. He commented on this win by saying my play was very weak because I checkmated him using my Queen & Knight, while I left the rest of my army undeveloped.

On Chess Board 822, by move 25.h3, he once again explained to me how much troble my position is in. On move 30.Nf4 I forked his King & Queen. He wrote saying "OK, lets see how much you have learnt from me. There is a better move then capturing the Queen, can you find it?" Of course there was a better move, I captured a pawn & then theatened to return to the same position to win his Queen anyway. He said I should of played 32.Nxg2 because I would of captured one of his pieces & saved my Knight, but if I capture his Queen (& a pawn) He recaptures my Knight, therefore the Queen capture would be weaker. Anyways, instead of allowing the same position & the Queen Fork, he moved his King into another mate in 2. Again, he told me my play is too boring for him.

OK, last one... I know this is getting long. I have saved some of his comments this game so I will insert them when I can. On Chess board 868....On move 10, he asked me what my opinion of the position was... I told him I thought black had permanent weak white squares on the Kinside & that the e file was also a weakness for black. He of course said the white squares are not weak because I dont have a Bishop of that color, he also said that the e file is a strength for him & it is my King that will be mated because of the e file. By move 29.Qf7.... I had explained to him you dont have to have a white squared Bishop to exploit white square weaknesses. He then told me I am real close to losing. This is what he wrote me...

1. Deny your King of the entire queen side.  This in turn allows me to
2. Have complete control of the q-side, and control of the dark squares.
3. Keep your rook entombed for a minimum 5 pbem moves, not including this move.
i don't believe you realise how important that e-file was to your campaign.
Well, Nf3 is a light square.  But you have bigger problems than me.
{Long enough to exploit the q-side which you abandoned.  The k-side is only important
when a king has castled to that side.  Mine is currently at c8, far from that theatre,
far from danger.  Yours is at f1, sandwiched between two dark towers.

At move 52, after he realized his game is lost he wrote saying "If you play 53.dxe6... it would be overkill, I would have no chance to defend myself, thus the game would become boring to me. But your Queen has served well, maybe it is time to sacrifice her at e6 instead, you would then have a Rook vs. my King & pawns."  I, of course played 53.dxe6 (nobody is going to tell me what I have to play!) Here is what he wrote in response......

You just played the final move in Chess 868.
Your win will come in about 21 days.
As for OmegaChess Boards 185 & 186 and DoubleChess
Boards m25 & m52, they will be done in silence.
And when those 5 are completed, so will be my
transactions with you.
What were you saying about resignation?
If that's what you demand, then that's what you'll get.
End of discussion.

You have got to be kidding!!! He is mad because I did not play the move He wanted me to play??? Anyway, he did send me one more comment ..............

(i just realised Tchigorin never opened with P-Q4)
Call it a loophole, a technicality, maybe a simple
lapse of memory, but this game was the one not included
in the list of total silence.
If you wish to break my silence, simply replay the move
on Chess Board 868.  But, should you decide to stick to
your guns, then this is my final comment to you, period.
You have 3 weeks to think about it. Do not answer me until
you're absolutely certain this is what you choose.  It's one
move you do not wish to blunder, so think it over very carefully.

I am sorry, but this behavior is unacceptable! I think he is a very sore loser & a bad sportsman. I am going to complain to everyone I can, in the hope that something can be done about this. PBeM does not need this kind of person terrorizing everyone in sight & chasing off honest people who just want to have fun & play some games in a friendly enviornment.

Respectfully Yours,
Michael (mdlopezlvn)

ps. With the exception of the comments in Bold Italics, bengal's comments are how I remember them. They are not his word by word, but are pretty close. It wasn't until recently that I started to save his comments to me. I apologize for any minute discrepancies.
