A new GIPF dedicated PlayByMail server has born...
Name : GameByMail Server
Address : www.gamebymail.net
This server allow you from now to play DVONN games of 3 kind :
1 - DVONN_RANDOM : A I.A on the server will automatically place
all pieces on the board for you.
2 - DVONN_SYMMETRIC : The server will start a game with pieces
already placed on the board symmetrically.
3 - DVONN : Classic DVONN game, players will place pieces
in the first step, the they will move.
They is a big difference between the GameByMail.Net server and the "Richard's PbeM Server". The GameByMail.Net server sends you and email in HTML format with a picture representing the status of your game. So your email client must be HTML compatible (Outlook Express, Outlook, Netscape Mail, AOL Email, etc...) if not you will be able in the future to see the progress of your game directly on the web site but for now the web site is offline and you can only pay by email.

ZERTZ, TAMSK, GIPF and GIPF with potential will come in the future...
If you want to try this new server, just send an email at this address : game@gamebymail.net with a subscribe command into the subject : SUBSCRIBE nickname firstname lastname email password.
After that you can challenge who you want using the command :
CHALLENGE gametype nickname1 nickname2 Rated/Unrated
For example : CHALLENGE DVONN_RANDOM Tedd Larry rated
If you want to send a message to everyone, send back a message to the server with 'MESSAGE' into the subject and the body will be send to everyone..
