Broadcast from bernhard via PBM Server

I always thought <game> move <board+user+pw> resign
is a safe way to not accept a game, you dont want, provided you didnt do
any action on that game before.
But now there was a pente match with me as the starting player. So the
computer filled in my first (forced) move 1 K10.  oponent answered, and I
sent my first mail: Resign.
But that counts as a rated game now.

- Bug or feature?
- should I have waited the 20 odd days out, would that have changed
  things?
- how to safely get out of a game you dont want?
- Is this the same with other games were forced first moves exists? e.g.
  moultezim

Would be glad about answers.
