I agree. However it should reward killing lots of robots on the same move. How about 1 for the first, 2 for the second, 3 for the third, so your score for a turn the triangle of the number of robots killed.

i agree with both of you. i ran up some pretty high scores by not worrying about my own deeath, if i knew it would be on move 3, 4, or 5 of a bunch of moves i'd send in ... also, i "cheated" by starting in level 9 or 10, then teleporting a few times until the random setup was favorable (ie, the close ones are going to bash into each other, then i can sort of go e,w,e,w,e,w for a bit)

I used to play this game on an Apple ][, 25 years ago, but there was no scoring, and there was a square containing a base. If you managed to move to the base you survived the round. But if a robot hit the base, he destroyed the base. Maybe there were two bases per round. This was a long time ago.


i've never seen a version with scoring ... the game just kept getting harder until you died
