David Molnar sent me the following about a talk at a math convention. The talk is about games, and in the abstract* they mention three connection games. They don't mention TwixT and they don't metion Gale/Bridg-It. The three great connection games they mention by name are Hex, ConHex, and Stymie.
*"Abstract" meaning the summary of the talk, not a type of game

Randall-
So, I'm going to the nation math conference in SF next week.
And, there's a short talk entitled "Games and Critical Thinking".By folks who have used games in math classes for people who don't want to take math. Which, of course, I have done the same thing. Except I never thought to give a talk about it, and in particular, I never gave a talk in which I
specifically mentioned Stymie in the abstract!
