WHERE:     Cottonwood Park Pavillion, Richardson, TX  (Off US75, exit 
Beltline Rd (West), Cottonwood Park entrance just west of Dublin.  From 
635 (LBJ) exit Coit Road (North), go to Beltline Rd, make a right, park 
entrance is just past Cottonwood)

Lone Star Bernese Mountain Dog Club presents .... Drafting in the Park 
.... Presented by Patricia Tackett

A hands on workshop for the novice and experienced draft dog and 
handler.  Dogs encouraged to attend. 

TOPICS TO BE COVERED:  Harness/Carts, Introduction to the harness, 
Introduction to shafts, Commands, Halts, Circles and Turns, Teaching 
Back, Narrows, Maneuvering tips, Draft Test Regulations/Tips
 
Patricia Tackett has been working with Bernese Mountain Dogs since 1986.  
She currently owns two BMDs and is active in Obedience, Tracking and 
Drafting.  Both of her BMDs have earned their Novice Draft Dog titles 
along with various AKC Obedience titles.  Pat is active with the Dallas 
Obedience Training Club, The Dog Training Club of Dallas County, a 
member of the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America and the Lone Star 
Bernese Mountain Dog Club.  Pat is a BMDCA Provisional Judge working 
towards becoming a BMDCA Draft Judge.
