[PyrNet-L] Re: Caesar and apples



Before we moved we had an apple tree that dropped fruit in our yard
and also on the other side of the fence on the sidewalk (we lived
on a corner and had a double fence to keep Patou away from
the public and the road). I once caught two little kids throwing
apples at him (They were too young or stupid to think that the 
owner might look  out the window). I am certain they thought they 
opened the gates of hell. Anyway - they never came back.

But most of the time the culprits were the squirrels. They would
carry the apples to the trees on Patou's side of the yard, nibble
and drop or toss. If the apples are scattered all over, and not
just where your Pyr is, consider the possibility of wildlife
moving it around. Can hope so, for you and your dog's sake anyway.
