Well, my dogs love a new layer of fresh straw in their doghouse. If changed
regularly, I find it a good bed for them. In a rainy season everything will
get damp in a doghouse, and it is nice to have a bedding, that you can
change as often as needed.
For me the only drawback with straw is that it tend to cling to the coat,
so they bring it into the house.
