do not get really wet until, you put the shampoo on.
I don't know if they could actually get a heart attact from being washed in
really cold water, but I am sure they would not enjoy it.
Try to wash your own hair in cold water, and see if you like it, and think
how much longer it takes to wash a pyr. Apart from that I don't think they
would get quite as clean and nice, and it would probably be difficult to
get the shampoo out of the coat.

I'm thinking this was a myth or maybe a coincidence almost. Maybe those
dogs that died were about to die from a heart problem at any moment and it
just took a bit of stress to do it. Maybe a cat or squirrel running by would
have done same thing. Or getting a shot at the vet. Or very hot weather. Or
even playing hard with another dog. Who knows. The one person who shared about
this that I remember for sure who it was on the list has been off for a few
months as he was moving.
