Unfortunately Pyrs are getting a bad reputation for that. 6 yrs ago right before I picked up 
my 1st Pyr my vet told me, "You'd better be careful, they're pretty mean dogs". It's 
amazing how many people think that an aggressive Pyr is acceptable, that that's "just the 
way they are".
