BClavins303,
This is meant strictly to try to lend a hopefully helping hand to you so
your posts will be easier to understand:
IF you highlight the portion of a post you are wishing to respond to:
by pointing the cursor (mouse) at the front of the portion you wish to quote
and then push down on the left mouse button and keep pushing it down and drag
the mouse along or down until all the part you want to quote is highlighted,
and then push the REPLY button,
THEN that part you highlighted will magically appear in the body (message
part) of the post you are writing and it will even tell who wrote that post
you are quoting.
THEN if you want to skip a line or two and write your reply - others on
the list WILL will understand what you are referring to. Otherwise, unless you
tell us or quote it, we can't possibly know what you mean.
IE: "No" what? We don't know who or what you are referring to when you
write posts this way.
I realize you have been on this list 2 years you said, but maybe no one
ever has explained this to you before or you didn't know what they meant. Of
course having ME explain it is a bit humorous if you know how me and computers
get along!! If this wasn't a clear explanation, let me know or post that you
didn't get it and I or someone else may be able to make it clearer. I'm
definitely still learning myself and there's tons I still don't get on
computers!! I'll be lost if my 22 yr. old computer whiz son ever leaves
home!! (Of course he'll probably take this computer with him and then where
will I be? Back on my 12 year old Tandy with 5 inch floppy discs that I can't
upgrade!! ARGH!!) Hope this helps!
