I'm a fairly newcomer as Albert is just one year old, but I think these are
fairly accurate answers. If not we'll hear about it!!

Physical maturity would be about 18 mos.
Emotional maturity more like 2 yrs. or 3 yrs.!!!
Weight at 10 mos. - about 90 pounds

I wouldn't worry too much about the weight loss between six and eight
months. There may have been an illness that is over and done now. Albert
lost 20 pounds once from illness. And lost weight another time, too, from
illness. (Separate problems.) It was serious then, but he's fine and well over
100 pounds now!! Vet says he's doing GREAT!!! Many health problems are one-
time affairs and not necessarily something they will be troubled with all
their lives. It is possible that they actually put the pup on a diet, too, and
started limiting the amount of food given each day, if he'd gotten too heavy.
Or 5 or six months is also a common time to switch them to adilt food from
puppy food so that they do not gain as much weight as fast. The main thing is
the pup's health now. There could have also been some switching of foods due
to allergic reactions, too.
They are just as lovable with or without their dewclaws, too.
   Enjoy your sweetie!!
