Re: [PyrNet-L] Agression fear

Hello Catie,

Whats with the Newfie breeders lately. One of the families that are getting
one of our Pyr pups was told the same thing. I was simply shocked. It really
had the new puppy folks very concerned. My reaction to them was obviously
the Newfie breeder did not know much about the breed. I really frown on
breeders that bash other breeds, often times just to scare the families so
they might choose their breed instead. Temperament has always been our
number one concern at Pyrview. After all we want the puppy to be happy as
well as the new family. I suggested my new family call some of our past
puppy folks and inquire about the temperament of our pups. Well they were
very pleased with what they heard and left a deposit on their Pyr pup.
Certainly there may be agression in some lines, ask your breeder for some
references, folks that have puppies from that breeder and see how they are
making out. Good luck...

Kind Regards,
Sandy Dyment,
Pyrview Reg'd Great Pyrenees.
Brantford, Ont. Can.
