Re: [PyrNet-L] Pyr story for ya

Scott,
I have a friend whose pyr actually tried to kill the first baby goats he
was around. By the next group of kid's the pyr had this figured out and went
so far as to keep the mom at bay to protect the kids. Remember a pyr's first
instinct is to seek out anything that is different in order to protect the
flock. My male Roscoe was driving us crazy barking nonstop. I went outside
to see what was wrong. I had left a glass on top of our car and he was
standing there barking at it. It did not belong there. We have an 18 acre
bird farm and they guard it just like any other livestock.
