[PyrNet-L] Chat: pet loss support hot line

WSU in Pullman, WA, opened a hot line Jan. 19 to help pet owners through their grief.  It is available to anyone who has experienced or who is facing the death of a beloved pet.  The hot line is staffed by students who have undergone grief counseling and crisis intervention through the university's counseling services.  The students are trained to help the owners through their loss and decisions that may have to be made.  Anyone can call the hotline, age does not matter though children need their parent's permission.  The phone number is 509-335-5704, hours are
6:30 pm to 9 pm Monday through Thursday, 1 to 3 pm on Saturday.
