There was an interesting article on AP Wednesday about Web site
speculators who register sites (the cost is apparently about $70 for 2
years) in hopes of cashing in later. For example, two college students
in AZ reserved www.Forbes2000.com and managed to get approximately
$6,500 from the Forbes campaign for it. The same story said that pretty
much all domains of potential presidential candidates for 2004 have
already been taken.

I don't know who this post was from, and if it excluded them from GPCA
membership. Just wanted to point out that this type of "speculating,"
unfortunately, is all too common on the Net. Whether or not this type of
behavior is grounds for GPCA membership exclusion, I guess, is up to the
GPCA.
