Re(2): [PyrNet-L] Destructive chewing

I think one of the keys is to be very selective in choice of place to
leave the dog/puppy. We have two places we'll leave ours, both over an
hour's drive from home (there are many places closer) but the
owners/managers love them and will attend to special needs. Both also have
large fenced areas where the dogs all get play time each day, have large
in/out runs, and are *really* clean. They insist on documentation of all
vaccinations, and reserve the right to bathe any dog that has fleas before
allowing it into the kennel. Most of all, we knew we were in the right
place when we had left Paddington and Ivy Rose there only a couple of
months after we got Ivy. She was pleased to see us, but she also wanted to
bring the kennel manager home! Do they like to be boarded? No--no futon
(Ivy) and they don't fix my food the way Mom does (Paddington). But
they're not stressed out when we pick them up, just tired and pleased to
see us.
