[PyrNet-L] french pix

Not me either but have to drag the scissors out of my daughter's hands. My
Pyrs do not need their feet trimmed like Border Collies!! Noted the length
of leg on the Comte de Foix bitches(sitting) along with length of muzzles
and have also noted longer hocks than we are used to. Stands to reason then
that the feet/toes would be longer. Little cupped cat feet on long legs
would look completely out of place and are untypical.
Looking at the Comte de Foix bitches no I would not say there are any
"extremes" there. Why? Because they all resemble each other and that is what
I would call Breed type. Nothing in them appears to be exaggerated (from a
seated viewpoint) and the first thing that came into my mind on looking at
that particular photo was the shape of the heads, "that of a Brown Bear with
the ears falling down". I think that expression which I had not thought of
for years is now engraved in my mind!
