[PyrNet-L] Rescue Pyr mix

I would like to thank Pam Batley and the Internet Pyr community for not
giving up on a dog that otherwise would have certainly been euthanized
by now.

After initially passing on him, I picked up this suspected Pyr/Anatolian
mix from the Fort Worth, TX, shelter on Wed., and he is really an
incredible dog.

He is sooooo homely, and very tiny, probably only 25-26 inches, and
extremely underweight, only 62 pounds. I thought he may have been a
puppy, but based on his teeth, my vet says he's probably 2-3 years old. 

He gamely put up with 2 1/2 hours of grooming, standing still on a
grooming table, which I'm sure he's never been on before, being bathed
and dipped and being poked and prodded by a vet. 

And when I got home tonight, he seemed to be smiling, tail wagging,
happy as all getout. 

Health permitting, he's going to make someone a wonderful pet someday.
