In our house, we have 1/2 doors to two of the rooms (this allows for air
conditioning and heat to circulate through the house and still keep animals
out). We had been keeping Baron in the house during the day while we were
out....he was very well behaved. Well.......one day I went into the room
that we use as a study. I noticed books had been knocked down, and then
found that there were scratches on the door. Well, Baron had discovered that
he could climb over the door, easily 4 feet high, and get into the room to
see out the north window. Maybe Baron is unusual - 5 foot fences mean
nothing to him, but when the dog gets bigger, if he wants to get out, he will.
Good luck, Robyn - with Baron "ahh, mum, I just wanted to see what was going
on next door"
