Re: [PyrNet-L] Ivermectin

Robyn, so far it seems to work well with no known side effects. Gets a
little trickier on the small dogs, just such a tiny dab seems to do it.
Like the 3 lb. Rat Terrier. But no one gets sick, and all remain
heartworm free. The one gal has a dog that is pushing 17 and has done
fine all these years. It would be nice if the Vets would be square with
us and give us multi-dog households a break, so we wouldn't have to play
this game. In this case, the gals Vet. did tell her it could be done
this way. . I think also the goats may come into more contact with
those nasty parasites than the average dog on a monthly treatment. I
know there is a lot of carry over with the dog heartwormers. Cindy.
