Re: [PyrNet-L] Dog Breeds.

Cindi, one thing to remember is you need to think of what dog is good for
you, not always your child. You will be the one who cares for the dog.
Most children do fine with any family dog. Many breeds are great with
children ( Including the Pyr. ), but in the end, you will be the one who
cares for the dog.

Another thing, be careful of the more common breeds, Goldens, Labs.,
Sheps. etc. Because they are so over bred there are more problems
physically and behavioral than there were many years ago. You may pay a
litter more for the less well known, but it may benefit you in the end.

What are you actually looking for in a dog, what size, type of coat,
lifestyle? Would help for suggestions. :-) Cindy.
