I know the most commonly used in our vet practice is Isoflurane so far that
is the safest that I know of, halothene is another used..but it usually
takes them longer to wake up from it. But it's still wise to find one of the
many books out there describing the indivividual effects on th GP breed..may
different breeds react differently to anesthesia.
