Yes, eggs are definitely good food - a great source of high quality protein
and essential fatty acids.  I have to disagree on the cooking bit though.

You are right that egg whites contain a substance called avidin which binds
with biotin (a member of the b complex) to make it unavailable to the dog.
Luckily, egg yolk contains plenty of biotin :-).  I think the only situation
where this would cause a problem would be if a dog was fed a diet already
deficient in biotin together with lots of egg whites.  As part of a balanced
diet they are generally not a problem.

If you are concerned about feeding them totally raw though, IMO the next
best option is to cook the whites but leave the yolks raw.
