[PyrNet-L] BREEDING: AKC News:DNA required on frequently used sires

This seems to be the next phase towards system wide mandatory DNA testing.  
This new rule on frequently used sires to be implemented starting 7/1/00.  
The first phase was DNA profile required on use of frozen semen on (foreign) 
studs, as I recall.  I've heard mandatory DNA testing should be implemented 
system wide (AKC) within 5 years. (This information from a former AKC field 
inspector.)
