I don't know about "constantly roaming", but Baron does patrol ther premises 
at night.  He has the run of the livingroom, kitchen, bath and the sunroom.  
Sometimes at night, if I'm awake, I may hear him going from the livingroom to 
the sunroom.  It's nice and comforting to know he's on guard :-)
