[PyrNet-L] Anais shedding
I have been combing and brushing Anais quite a bit this week because I
gave her a bath on Friday and took her to the Canine Learning Experience
on Saturday (which was a lot of fun and I finally got to meet Clondike
who is just beautiful!!!)
A few days before he bath I had noticed that an awful lot of hair was
coming out on her upper back legs (thighs?). Today I am back to combing
and am noticing the same thing. I am combing out handfuls of hair from
a very small area. It's scary and her coat looks thin in spots. She
will be a year old next wednesday. This can't be normal can it? The
temperature has been in the 20's and below for weeks here in NJ. I have
never seen a Pyr blow their coat and know that this often happens at
around this age for the first time, but the hair is coming out only on
her upper legs and she shouldn't be shedding in this weather, should
she? She was spayed on December 2, in case that is significant. Could
something be really wrong? I am afraid to keep combing!!!
Help!!!
