[PyrNet-L] A Country Outing, dress standards

I'm sorry, I forgot to add the code of dress standards for the Wairarapa
Ribbon Parade tomorrow. For the locals, a pair of denim shorts, cut off at
the knee, a teeshirt I would not use for a duster (and we all know how
houseproud I am not), finished off by a pair of "jandals" aka "flipflops"
or" safety footwear". For winter the self same pair of denim shorts not yet
cut off at the knee, a sweatshirt that was the tee shirt (arms still in) and
a pair of gumboots. I have instructed Sarah to wear a skirt at least 6"
below her waist, a neat blouse covering all and a light linen summer jacket
plus SHOES (sorry Cindy). Myself? a pair of black linen trousers, a white
blouse with lace collar, a houndstooth jacket(summer weight) and a pair of
flat black shoes. I may need a crowbar to get my feet into them. Frankie
and Winston? Well let's hope a lovely white coat for Frankie and a lovely
beige flowing coat for Winston. Could be the other way round of course!!
You can see I am not treating this outing lightly. I have spent most of the
night on the phone informing the lower North Island that Wairarapa KC have a
Ribbon Parade. How would folk find out otherwise? Lavina, Ronda are you
busy tomorrow??
