Thank you for all the wonderful good wishes for Kes! Good news -- I collected her from the vet this morning! Everything went well, and she was as happy to see me as I was her. Stitches come out in 10 days, and right now she's stretched out on the sofa, with Nick (the kitten we found just before Christmas) curled up on her tummy. Quite a sight!
