	Joe, it may be illegal if caught...but the "caught" part is
pathetically
	low, because of the indifference shown to animals.  Of course maybe
we
	are talking about an alternate universe?  Like the comment made
about
	"Children never abusing animals"?  In the world I'm in, children
often
	do, and a lot  ( may be as high as most ) of 
	the people don't  seem to get caught or punished.    Cindy
