I am sure there are many ways that humans determine why they dislike
someone or something.  In some cases we find our initial reaction to be
incorrect.  Since I don't think we always know why we choose the way we
do, I am not sure that I would be comfortable saying why a dog makes the
choices they do.  Mentioning colors, it is well known that colors often
make a difference.  Some stallions will not breed mares of a certain
color, and the mares have to be blanketed so the stallion cannot "see"
