Janice, I understand the term "zoonotic" thank you!  I am just saying
that in light of other information in regards to dogs actually getting
rabies, I just don't think they need to be done every year.  And I don't
think Texas is worse than any other s. border state.  I think politics
determines why we vaccinate more in this state.  Vaccinating more does
not make it better as we seem to think.  If a dog were protected by two
shots, or 6 shots, or whatever number to afford protection, then why do
it more, other than to pad pockets?  Cindy
