Well, this really won't help you traveling in the US, but if you're
venturing to the UK, I happened to find a site that lists dog friendly
accommodations in the British Isles.  The web address is
www.dogsonline.co.uk.  Had a few listed in the London area (unfortunately
none in Hertfordshire, where we used to live).  Also had some other
interesting areas to this web site.
