[pyrnet] Losing hair after bout with parasite

Hi everyone!

I know we're all busy getting ready for the holidays but I need some help.

A friend of mine has emailed me about their 10 month old Pyr.  I have pasted 
what they said below.  Any ideas what is wrong with their boy?

"He had had some kind of intestinal parasite and the vet gave him some
medicine and an antibiotic.  They said the parasite is gone now, but we're
beginning to notice that he's losing his fur in big patches.  Right now he's
got two bald spots, one on each hind leg.  The skin is ok and there is some
short hair covering the spots, but the long coat and the undercoat are
seeming to just fall out in clumps.  The vet doesn't seem to know what's
causing it (they took some blood samples, but we don't know anything yet)
and it very concerning.  They don't believe the medicine has anything to do
with it.  Could it be stress or something?  Have you ever heard of anything
like this before?  Thanks."
