 Interesting topic and one very dear to my heart. I 
hear "bone" talked about all the time. As in we need to bring in "more bone", 
etc. Which may, or may not be true, depending on the breeding stock. First and 
foremost, a dog should be balanced. The amount of bone should be in proportion 
to the size and frame of the dog. Newfs have a lot of bone. They are supposed 
to. They are a water dog and havy bone is not as dense and helps them to stay 
afloat. In a breed such as Pyrs, heavy bone, I would think, would be a distinct 
disadvantage. Heavy bone is not a s strong and would break down faster.
