I don't know of any "ongoing" discussions on this suject on any
of the "other" Pyr lists. And I belong to a lot of them. It is
mentioned, occasionally, but I also don't remember many harsh
words or accusations, unless you're talking about those who are
absolutely completely against showing and have a tendency to make
blanket statements, such as all dog shows are bad and all judges
have no clue. As in ANY competitive sport, there is politics,
pettiness and rudeness. But on the other hand, there is
comraderie and frienship, kindness and helpfulness. It is what
you make it.
