Re: [pyrnet] Shepherds crook

Not something I thought a lot of Joe til recently but yes it appears some of
the tails on the Pyrs are shorter therefore not having the tip (when tail
pulled down) going far enough below the hock. The wheel is still made on the
move but it's the length of tail when in repose. Then again I've seen the
tails dragging on the ground and going nowhere!! Must admit I enjoy seeing
a Pyr tail curled up in the wheel with the shepherds crook slightly to the
side and the lovely plumage. I wonder if we were too busy concentrating on
things like soundness front and rear, eyes, head shapes to mention a few and
did not notice tail length?? What do you think Joe??
