Hi Robyn,

yes it's Cushings causing the loss of fur on tail, one of the symptoms and
really her only one apart from old age. Courtenay's fur is missing off the
back of her tail for about 3" , also some missing around her neck.  You
might also have noticed with Candy that she needs bathing more.  I bath
Courtenay every 3/4 weeks now, there is a bit of a body odour.  Poor Candy
and Courtenay.  No creams will work on this one!
