Re: [pyrnet] Putting on weight

hi julie,
i used nutro large breed puppy for a very underweight and neglected 1 year
old pyr who was 51lbs (as well as a few other very underweight pyrs), and it
did wonders for her. she also had no hair and it grew back into a beautiful
coat. she's up to at least 80lbs now (haven't weighed her in a while). the
reason i like them is that they are all natural - much healthier for the dog
than synthetics (like us). now, i don't know if bil jac is all natural or
not, but if so it wouldn't be bad either. not that all dog foods are bad by
any stretch of the imagination, but i've found that w/all the top quality
foods, i've had the most success and prettiest coats w/nutro. and, others
i've known have had great success w/it, too. that's just IMO. i did read a
holistic vet book and they said nutro has the best ingredients out of any
brand out there (as far as pet store foods go), but they preferred organic
pet foods, or the best being home cooked food made of all natural
ingredients from organic foods. that is, if you have the time to make it!
:-) can you imagine how long we'd all be in the kitchen cooking for all our
pyrs?? lol!!
