Re: [pyrnet] The standard

Robyn, you CAN have a link to the GPCA website. What cannot be done is
reprinting or copying the information on the site and using it as your own
on your website. For example, I recently came across a website that was
selling Pyrs, goats, what-have-you and they had *lifted* sections of the
GPCA site and presented it as their own information. NO acknowledgement was
given to the GPCA. I sent them an email stating that they were in violation
of copyright infringment and that they had taken the info from our (GPCA)
without permission. They removed it immediately. :-)

If you want to print out any of the pamphlets (Is this the breed for you,
buying a puppy, etc), you may do so for PERSONAL use only. You cannot print
off the information and sell it for a profit. It's for personal use only.

The "Illustrated Standard" is a different thing entirely. This may NOT be
reprinted and it clearly states this on those pages of the IS Section on the
website. If you would like a copy, you can contact Whitney Coombs. The
directions (how much and where to send check) is on the site.

Hope that this helps! :-)
